Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Following on from the success of the Japan tour in 2025, Villanova College is proud to announce the Expression of Interest for the Football and Rugby Union tour to New Zealand in April 2027. At this stage the tour is only in the proposal stage, awaiting expressions of interest from the community.

This form is an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the New Zealand Football & Rugby Tour only. Completing this form does not guarantee a student's invitation to the tour.

Proposed Tour information

Where - New Zealand (Auckland, Rotorua)

Dates - Easter 2027, proposed dates 24/3/27 to 31/3/27

Activities - games, training sessions, guided tours, Katoa Lake Jet boat, All Blacks experience sightseeing and more

Predicted cost - $6500 - $7000 per student. This is a predicted cost only. The final figure may vary from this. This cost does not include uniforms, travel insurance and spending money.

Eligibility - International Sports Tours are generally geared towards students in Years 12, 11, 10 (in the year of the Tour). So students currently in Years 11, 10 and 9 are eligible to complete this form. This Tour also forms part of the pre-season phase for our elite Football & Rugby squads. Trial matches and training will be an integral component of the Tour.

Expressions of Interest - please RSVP by Wednesday 29 July, 2026. Once EOI's are collated, the College will confirm if the proposed Tour will go ahead. Once confirmed, official invitations will be sent to families requesting a deposit of $500 to confirm your son's place on the Tour. Deposits will be required quite soon, so that further planning can progress. A payment plan of 2-3 payments will then be set up, with final payments due by 8/2/2027.
